…hopefully this will be my last trip here with the exclusive purpose of using the Internet. Doing research, checking out materials, et cetera — these are acceptable excuses for a trip downtown to the Central Library, — but I’m tired of having to waste my days off making trips to the library just to check my E-mail, search for jobs, and the like, so I finally did something about it: I signed up today for Internet at home. It’s not going to happen until next Monday (that was the earliest appointment they offered to have some schmo come flip a switch to turn it on), but I should be all set after that. No more turning down shifts at work because I need a day off to travel to the library to check my E-mail. I feel better about it already.
